About BallotFlow

BallotFlow is a modern alternative to legacy online voting tools. It runs ranked-choice and other voting methods for organizations that hold real elections — boards, co-ops, unions, nonprofits, student governments — and want something better than a clunky web form from 2010.

The platform is built on three commitments:

Voting math people can trust. The Single Transferable Vote tally engine implements Meek's method per Hill / Wichmann / Woodall and is verified against the droop reference implementation. Tally code is a pure package with no database or HTTP dependencies; every election produces a structured replay that anyone can audit round-by-round.

A voting experience that respects voters. Ballots arrive in email as a unique magic link. No registration, no password, no account. Each token is single-use and expires when the election closes. Voters spend their attention on choices, not on creating accounts.

Real-time everywhere it matters. Admins watch ballots arrive live on the dashboard. Results play back round-by-round as an animated bar chart with quota lines and surplus transfers. The point isn't a flashy demo; it's that election dynamics become legible to people who aren't STV nerds.

BallotFlow is currently in development. The voter ballot, admin dashboard, and results playback are live; pricing and billing land later. This marketing site exists to explain what's being built and what it's for.
